Who: Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers Wearing the HELP Necklace Given to him by Camilla Belle
What: Joe Jonas Wearing Panthera Collection leather necklace for HELP to support the children in Malawi during a free concert at New York City’s Irving Plaza. HELP is a non-profit organization dedicated to spreading hope, education, love and protection to children on a global level, starting in Malawi, Africa. Jonas was given the necklace from Camilla Belle who supports the foundation as well. Since 2009, Belle has been trying to raise awareness and funding for the organization, and has been seen sporting the collection around town as well.
“It is a privilege to partner with HELP on the WHAT LOVE MEANS Campaign,” says Camilla Belle. “My goal is to help and bring happiness to the lives of people suffering in this impoverished country by participating in this worthwhile campaign. I am also looking forward to visiting Malawi this summer and having the chance to provide hands-on support to the ongoing efforts of this wonderful organization and the people of Malawi.”
WHAT LOVE MEANS…… These three simple words are reflected by thousands of children living in rural Malawi, Africa (the seventh poorest country in the world) where HELP, in conjunction with the community, has impacted their lives. HELP’s mission is to positively impact lives of orphaned children and young adults living with famine, drought, extreme poverty, illiteracy, and diseases like HIV/AIDS, malaria, and tuberculosis, all of which can be treated with proper health care and education, if available. The mission is to give hope, education, love and protection to these children and young adults, beginning with building a school and medical clinic.
About The Panthera Collection:
Each piece from the Panthera Collection can be worn to reflect your support. The Panthera Collection, inspired by a vintage lion cufflink from the 1860’s, has been designed into necklaces, bracelets, rings, cufflinks and key chains. The collection is created with a 14kt gold lion in each piece. The lion was chosen as a representative of the children of Malawi. It is symbolic of the courage the children in Malawi must endure on a day-to-day basis when faced with endless issues of poverty and illness. You can buy the panthera collection at: www.helpchildren.org.
100% of the profits from the Panthera Collection benefit the direct services of H.E.L.P..
