Lady Gaga reportedly threw down thousands of dollars on a diamond-encrusted whip and matching lingerie set for Beyonce’s 29th birthday. Contactmusic.com reported today that Gaga gifted her Telephone duet partner with the over the top present at a recent show in Detroit. Apparently “when Beyonce received it she squealed with excitement.”
In their epic prison themed video for Telephone, Beyonce tells Gaga, “You’ve been a very bad girl. A very, very bad girl, Gaga.” It’s a bit of a break from girl-next-door persona we usually see from the native Houstonian, and it puts the strange gift into context.
