Pre-order demand for Sony Corp.’s Playstation Move controller for the Playstation 3 ranked in the top 20 this week amid strong demand for the new product.
This week, the Playstation Move held a sales increase of 140 percent to rank at No. 20 in Amazon.com’s Video Games division.
The Playstation Move controller will sell at $49.99 each.
The Move Navigation Controller holds an MSRP of $29.99 each.
In addition, the Playstation Move Starter Bundle, which includes the Playstation Move Controller, Playstation Eye, and Sports Champions title, will sell at $99.99 .
Finally, a Playstation Move Console Bundle will include a PS3 320GB SKU, Playstation Move Controller, Playstation Eye, and Sports Champions at $399.99 .
All Playstation Move product will be sold Sept. 19.
The Playstation Move utilizes two motion sensors, a three axes gyroscope, and a three axes accelerometer to detect controller angle and movement, Bluetooth 2.0 and a Lithium-Ion rechargeable internal battery.
Move titles include Sports Champions , The Fight: Lights Out , and The Shoot .
Move compatible titles include Resident Evil 5 and SOCOM 4 .
The PS3 is sold in a 160GB SKU at $299.99 , 250GB SKU at $349.99 .
In addition, a bundle that includes the PS3 250GB SKU, LittleBigPlanet and an HDMI cable sells at $349.99 .
The Playstation Move Console Bundle will include a new PS3 320 GB SKU with the Playstation Move Controller, Playstation Eye, and Sports Champions at $399.99 .
