Retailer Amazon.com this week price cut Square Enix Holdings Co.’s Final Fantasy XIII for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3 outsold the version for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 to $35 in a new game sale.

This week, the Final Fantasy XIII PS3 SKU holds a sale price of $35.07 and the Final Fantasy XIII Xbox 360 SKU holds a discount price of $35.09 .

Square Enix in Mar. said Final Fantasy XIII sold more than 1 million units in the first five days of availability at U.S. retail.

The PS3 is sold in a 120GB SKU at $299.99 , 250GB SKU at $349.99 .

In addition, a bundle that includes the PS3 250GB SKU, LittleBigPlanet and an HDMI cable sells at $349.99 .


Sony in Sept. will begin sale of the Playstation Move controller.

Microsoft in Sept. will sell the Xbox 360 250GB Halo: Reach Bundle at $399.99 .

The Xbox 360 4GB console, which will include a matte black finish, Wi-Fi N, and 4GB flash memory, will be sold Aug. 3 at $199.99 .

The Xbox 360 4GB hardware SKU with Kinect and Kinect Adventures will sell at $299.99 in Nov.

Microsoft in June began sale of the new Xbox 360 250GB Elite, which includes built-in 802.11n Wi-Fi and a 250GB hard drive holds a retail price of $299.99 .
