Lady Gaga is going strong with her Monster Ball Tour which started in Montreal, Canada, on November 27th 2009 and goes all around North America to close at the end of January 2010 in New York. Says the rising pop star, “‘The Monster Ball’ is a multimedia artistic experience in the style of the first-ever ‘pop electro opera.’”
Her new tour is to promote her latest album “The Fame Monster.” This new album is a re-issue of her much acclaimed breakthrough album “The Fame”, and was released in November 2009, featuring eight new tracks. The supporting act for her tour will be Kid Cudi, the up-and-coming rapper/singer.
The Monster Ball Tour has Gaga playing in small, intimate venues. Lady Gaga performs in cities across Canada and the US, starting in Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa in Canada, then moving onto Boston, MA, Camden, NJ, San Francisco, CA, Los Angeles, CA, Las Vegas, NV, San Diego, CA, Atlanta, GA, Miami and Orlando, FL, St. Louis, MO, Chicago, IL, Detroit, MI, Atlantic City, NJ, and New York, NY. Her debut album, The Fame was number one in four countries, while its “Just Dance” and “Poker Face” became international club hits.
Gaga is known for her edgy, eccentric fashion as much has her music, sporting edgy out fits and hairstyles. For this latest tour, the pop diva advises her fans and concert goers to “Dress accordingly.”
