It was a news that shocked the world, shocked her parents, shocked the baby’s father, Casey Aldridge and most definitely shocked herself! With that, she also revealed her plan to raise the baby, with an intention for her child to lead a “normal” life. However, knowing the “world”, a celebrity’s baby tend not to lead a “normal” life, with the paparazzi hounding them with every move…

Then, in March 2008, Jamie started showing off her engagement ring among family and friends. Thus, it was confirmed that Jamie and Casey were engaged. However, the soon-to-be-parents does not plan on having a wedding until after Jamie’s pregnancy.

On June 19, 2008, Jamie Lynn Spears, 17 and Casey Aldridge, 19 together with their family (not to mention Jamie’s famous sister, Britney), welcomed their first child together, named Maddie Briann Aldridge.
